George Edward Jackson, Jr., age 93, died on June 21st, 2026. George was born on September 17, 1932, in Moberly, MO, and was the last surviving of 9 children born to Georgia and George Edward Jackson.
After an honorable discharge from the army, George married Peggy Brewer in 1955. He worked for Ameren Electric for 42 years, after which he retired to Branson, MO. He was widowed in 2019. George was a Mason and a Shriner. He will be remembered as an outdoorsman, an avid reader with a witty, sharp sense of humor, and above all else, a devoted, gentle and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his children Michael Phillip (Cynthia) Jackson, of Carl Junction, MO and Susan Jackson (Randall) Wolff, of Union, MO; and five grandchildren, Rachel Lynn Wolff of San Antonio, TX, Sarah Morgan (Flavio) Wolff of Manhattan, NY, Olivia Marie Jackson of Kansas City, MO, Christopher George ( Alex) Jackson of Yuma, AZ, and Michael Tiege Jackson of Branson, MO.
