Geraldine Alma (Franck) Mehrle

Geraldine Alma Mehrle of High Hill,Missouri passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 93. Geraldine was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on September 19, 1927 to Ervin F. and Alma (Schafer) Franck. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

 She is survived by her two daughters, Martha (David) Long and Mary Mehrle, and two daughter-in-laws, Cindy Mehrle and Pam Mehrle.Three sons, Larry (Sherry) Mehrle, Jerry (Kathleen) Mehrle and Kenneth (Christine) Mehrle. Grandchildren, Jeanette (Bill) Preckel, Jeff (Sarah) Mehrle, Chrissy (Bill), Jenny Rose, Keith Rose, David (Becky) Mehrle, Michael (Shauna) Mehrle, Joshua (Libby) Mehrle, Jared (Amy) Mehrle, Jeremy (Megan) Mehrle, Amanda (Ted) Mehrle, Angie (Tim) O’Saben, Brian (Shana) Long, Susan (Matthew) Sheff, Derek (Bethany) Mehrle, Dasha (Dwayne) Fehrenbacher, Sherri Dieckman, Tampsy (Brian) Biter, Stephen (Erin) Wallace and Allen (Becca) Hayden. 40 Great grandchildren and 6 Great-great grandchildren. Her sisters, Ruth Farrow, Ella (JImmy) Sinn and Shirley Josey. One sister-in-law Georgia (John L) James.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Mehrle, Sons, Victor E. Mehrle, David W. Mehrle and Richard E. Mehrle, her parents, brothers Ervin Franck and William Franck, her sisters, Dorothy Haupt, Betty Schweers and Ruby Moore.

 Geraldine was a master quilt maker and blessed family and friends with her works of art. She enjoyed gardening and canning which she shared with everyone she knew. On a summer day you could find her watching the cardinals and hummingbirds in her yard. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
