Born on December 5, 1938, Gladys spent her life spreading joy and kindness to all who knew her. She was a devoted mother, aunt, cousin and friend. She is preceeded in death by her father, Edward Massmann, mother, Mabel Massmann (nee: Jaeger), husband, Floyd Colbert, brother, Elmer Massmann.

Gladys's faith was the cornerstone of her life and she was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville. She was baptized, confirmed, married and buried at Immanuel. She was an honorary member of Immanuel Ladies Aid, also known as Women In Mission.
