Gladys G. (Lackey) Smith

Gladys Smith passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 91. 

Native of St. Louis, Missouri. Loving wife of the late Marcus Lee Smith, Sr. Dear mother of Marcus Lee Smith, Jr., Debbie Smith Robinson, and Lisa Smith Long. Dear grandmother of Christopher Smith, Jonathan Smith, Mary Robinson Neff, Laura Robinson Kanan, Katie Long Cosby, Meghan Long Bauer, Jessica Long Dukeman, and Travis Long. Dear great grandmother of Sophia Elizabeth Smith, Olivia Ruby Smith, Elizabeth Jane Smith, Jonathan Thomas Smith, Layne Claire Kanan, Evangeline Rose Neff, Piper Elizabeth Bauer, Emery Lee Bauer, Chloe Nicole Cosby, Annabelle Michelle Cosby, Dean Robert Dukeman, Quinn Addison Dukeman, Emma Rose Long, and Collins Elizabeth Long.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents Durward and Juanita Medlin Lackey and her brother Billie Lackey. She was a graduate of Central High School, St. Louis, Missouri and a member of Harmonie Church, Innsbrook, MO. She was devoted to her Christian faith and family.
