Gloria J. (Finley) Johnston

Gloria Jean (Jeannie) Johnston was a great mother and grandmother. She was a long time resident in Sagemont subdivision in Houston,Texas. She was born in Galveston, Texas on the 13th of November 1942 and she passed on the 14th of May 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Robertson, son in-law, Robert Robertson, grandkids, Christian Harvey, Rebecca Robertson And Makayla & Cross Gaast, and great grandkids Tate Hammock and Scarlett Gaast.

Gloria was a kind and caring woman who always cared for others first before herself.  She was a long time teacher at South Houston High school. She loved all her students and helped them excel in everything.  She went to football games as often as she could.  She also taught GED and night school in her 40 yrs of teaching in Pasadena ISD.

Services will be held at her church, New Hope Baptist church in League City, TX on Saturday the 27th of May at 10:30am.
