Harold R. Morgan

Harold R. Morgan passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 95. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Morgan nee Latson of Troy, Missouri. He is survived by his daughter, Vicky Morgan (Rick) Koonley of St. Peters, MO; son, Tom Morgan of Troy, MO; and 18 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, George Lafayette Morgan, Sr.; mother, Christina Marie Morgan nee Kauffeld; brothers, Earl, Carl, and George L. Jr.  Morgan; and sister, Eileen Griffith. Harold proudly served in the US Army during WWII in the infantry.  He also earned a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. On September 1, 1947, Harold married the love of his life, Dorothy, and they cherished 74 years together. Harold was a long-time member of Dardenne Presbyterian Church. He served as an Elder and was involved with Operation Christmas Child. Harold also enjoyed woodworking, camping, golfing, and fishing.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
