Henry Zompa Obituary

Henry James Zompa was born on September 4, 1939 in Providence, Rhode Island. He passed away peacefully on November 15th, 2020 in St. Louis, Missouri.

A veteran, family man and devout Catholic, he moved to St. Louis in 1993 from his home in Rhode Island in order to be closer to his son and daughter. He retired from construction in 2000.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joan Bertolini Zompa of St. Louis, brother Peter Zompa (Joan) of Rhode Island, son Stephen Zompa (Alexi) of St. Louis, daughter Giovanna Cassilly of St. Louis, grandsons Dylan Cassilly, Robert Cassilly and Stephen Alexander Zompa of St. Louis, as well as many extended family and friends throughout the Midwest and in New England.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter Zompa and Palma Parillo Zompa; brother, Nicholas Zompa; son-in-law Bob Cassilly.

A celebration of life is planned for Summer of 2021.
