Ivalene Buxton (nee: Oliver) of O' Fallon, Missouri, passed away on June 30, 2025 at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of the late Orville Buxton; she is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Sue Morris, Brenda Kay Stanton, Judy Conradine (Dave) Disbrow; four step-daughters, Lynn Diane (Robert) Talbott, Kay (David) Warner, Deborah (Curtis "Ken") Buxton, Joyce Wulfers; step-son, Ron (Roberta) Buxton; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Ivah Oliver, mother, Mollie Oliver (nee: Hicks), sister, Ella Wright, sister, Iva Steffan, sister, Anna Shaw, brother, William "Willie" Oliver, brother, David Oliver, son-in-law, Melvin Stanton.
Ivalene, was a beloved member of the Lake St. Louis First Baptist Church, and was an active participant in the Church's Senior Crew. Her commitment to education extended beyond her church life, as Ivalene served as president for the Educational Secretaries of the State of Missouri, impacting many lives through her leadership and passion for learning. Additionally, Ivalene devoted her time to volunteering at Mary Martha in Wentzville and a local women’s shelter, always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. Ivalene was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan and in her leisure time, she delighted in playing pinochle and Skip Bo with family and friends. Ivalene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
