James Robert Bohn of St Louis, Missouri, died on April 19th, 2021 at the age of 83 surrounded by family. He was born on August 8th, 1937. He was the beloved husband of Saundra Bohn nee Hart of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; He is survived by his son, James "Rob" R. (Lisa) Bohn, Jr. of Houston, TX; daughter, Catherine "Beth" Elizabeth (Kurt) Miller of Cottleville, MO; brother, Jeffrey Bohn of St. Charles, MO; sister, Susan Ramm of Springfield, IL; many nieces & nephews, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, ;  He is preceded in death by his father, Jacob C. Bohn, mother, Genevieve Bohn. He was a loving husband, married to Sandy for 61 years.

A true family man, he had a passion for boating, made up words, and the small pleasantries in life. Jimmy was a successful business owner, operating Forms and More for over twenty years. Well known for his always styling business clothes, Jim developed many, meaningful lifelong customers.

Being on the lake or river was his other happy place. He never passed up a chance to stop at a dam to watch the barges pass through or throw a pole in the water to hook a bluegill or go for an evening cruise. From his Sea Ray Run About to Chris Craft Cabin cruiser to his pontoon boat, he was always on top of the upkeep and ready to take them out for sunset cruise.

Jim was a Sergeant in the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve. He served for 6 years total and spent one of those years in Ancee’, France. Responsible for fueling airplanes, he did his part in protecting Eastern Europe. During his service, he travelled through Europe with his friends and saw countless places. His squad in the Missouri Air National Guard was called “Weekend Warriors”.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception, Dardenne Prairie Catholic Church, and to his siblings and wife was known as “Saint James the Greater”.

Jim loved his family above all else. He always loved to stay in touch and even mastered the use of his IPhone just so he could call or text more frequently.

James Robert Bohn was deeply loved by his family. His passing will forever leave a hole in our hearts, but his memory will live on forever.
