James "Dan" Fischer

James "Dan" Fischer of Lake St. Louis, MO passed away on August 6, 2022 at the age of 85. He is survived by his five children, Steve (Donna) Fischer, Cindy (Donnie) McFarland, Randy (Lisa) Fischer, Gary (Rhonda) Fischer, Ted (Jennifer) Fischer; step-daughter, Deanna McGunnigle; two brothers, Mark (Bettye) Fischer, Earl (Paula) Fischer; sister, Jane (John) Hall; ex-wife, Christine Fischer; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren;  He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Fischer, mother, A. Lucile (Clark) Fischer, wife, Donna Fischer, granddaughter, Melinda Fischer, step-daughter, Maureen McGunnigle.  

Dan was raised in Owensboro, KY and an alumni of University of Kentucky.  He honorably served in the U. S. Army and was employed at EASI (Engineering Air Systems, Inc.) for over 40 years.  He enjoyed playing bridge, golf, fishing, boating, and was an active member of the Community Association of Lake St. Louis.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
