James Dorais

James Dorais passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 84. James was born September 30, 1938 in Dardenne Prairie, MO, son of the late Fred Dorais and Lucille (Gentemann) Dorais.  He later met and married Dottie Saali.  They had three children; Lisa, Danny, and Lori.  He is survived by his loving wife; Dottie (Saali) Dorais of Wentzville, Missouri; three children, Lisa (Rich) Kolkmeier, Danny (Khristie) Dorais, Lori (Steve) Jenkins; eight grandchildren, Clayton Kolkmeier, Jimmy Kolkmeier, Emily (Andy) Fox, Ricky Dorais, Amanda (Doug) Knaust, Josh (Kristen) Hirth, Nicholas (Michelle) Hirth, Ryan (Katia) Hirth; six great-grandchildren, Henry, Edwin, and Ammie Fox and Evan, Logan, and Lily Knaust; sisters, Patsy (Don) Taylor, Marion (Mike) Strunk. He is preceded in death by his father, Fred W. Dorais, mother, Lucille (Gentemann) Dorais, and sister Margie (Bill) Fogarty.

James enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
