James Edward Thompson

James E. Thompson passed away on August 17, 2021 at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Thompson nee Hahn of Wright City, Missouri; He is survived by his four sister-in-laws, Ruth (Paul) Yourdon of Wright City, MO, Charlotte (Nick) Nichols of Williamsburg, MO, Carol McGeal of Fulton, MO, Judy Davison of OR; two brother-in-laws, Harold Meadows, Jr. of Jefferson City, MO, Dale Lee Meadows of Sullivan, MO; two grandsons, Joshua and Jeffrey Thompson. 

James retired from McDonnell Douglas after 45 years of service and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Troy, MO.  In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.  Two of his favorite places were Alaska and Okinawa, Japan.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Charles and Cecelia L Thompson and his son, James Edward Thompson, Jr.
