James William Lewis passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 33. James was born February 19,1991 in St. Charles, MO to Arthur and Lisa Lewis nee Barnett.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle Lewis nee Holbrook of Washington, mother, Lisa Lewis nee Barnett of Waynesville, MO; sister, Lacey Lewis McHenry of Warrenton, MO; three brothers, Arthur Lewis II of Warrenton, MO, Eddie  Lewis of Joplin, MO, Travis Lewis of Warrenton, MO; grandpa, Willie Barnett of Waynesville, MO; 5 nieces and nephews, Cercnity McHenry, Arthur Lewis III, Miranda  Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Mason Monroe; two uncles, Marvin Barnett of Waynesville, MO, Alvin Barnett of Dixon, MO;  
 He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lewis, sister, Miranda Lewis, 2 nephews Ashtyn and Tristyn Lewis, grandmother, Eddie Barnett, grandparents, Burt and Lorraine Lewis. 

James was a devoted family man who deeply loved and cherished everyone in his family. 

He was the textbook definition of "Mama's Boy". James was a giving kind hearted man who was always willing to help anyone in need. He studies at Linn College to become a diesel mechanic. James was a licensed pro boxer and enjoyed many wins in the ring. He was a loving husband who brought great joy in my life. He was funny, outgoing, and typically the life of the party. He was caring and nurturing and will forever have a place in my heart. 

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
