James Anthony McCue passed away on June 26, 2020 at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores J. McCue née Clanney of Augusta, Illinois (May 1, 2006); He is survived by his four sons, James A. (Vicky) McCue Jr., David W. (Roxie) McCue, John (Pam) McCue, David M. McCue and daughter, Janet (Patrick) McCue; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; He is preceded in death by his father, James W. McCue, mother, Gertrude E. Powers, wife, Dolores J. McCue, daughter, Julie Carrao, sister, Dorothy McCloskey, sister, Mary Ann Tupy. James proudly served his country in the Army during World War II. He then went on to become a truck driver for many years until he retired at the age of 83. James spent his life traveling the United States as an independent trucker. He loved meeting new people and visiting with family and friends on his travels. James never met a stranger, only a friend he hadn't talked to yet. James will always be loved and missed dearly.
