James Sharkey Jr.

James Joseph Sharkey Jr. passed away on August 24, 2021 at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn Sharkey nee Wolfe of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Sharkey-Gonzalez of Lake Saint Louis, MO; two granddaughters, Briana Sharkey-Gonzalez, and Kennedi Sharkey; brother, Frank (Judy) Sharkey; four nieces, Liza Donovan, Casey, Jill, and Shannon Sharkey; three cousins, Scot (Karen) Armstrong, Jay (Pam) Armstrong, and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Hallett.  He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mae Sharkey nee Hannon; wife, Marilyn; brother, Jack Sharkey; and nephew, Michael Sharkey. James was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Josephville, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, trophy hunting, and Studebaker classic cars. He loved traveling worldwide with his wife to places including New Zealand, Germany, Italy, and Japan. James will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
