James Skillington

James Skillington of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 89. He is survived by his beloved wife Marcella Skillington (nee: Janis) of Wentzville, Missouri; four sons, Christopher (Linda) Skillington of FL, Thomas Skillington of Sedalia, MO, David (Laura) Skillington of Wentzville, MO, Charles Skillington of Villa Ridge, MO; daughters, Susan (Edward) Dering of Hazelwood, MO, Nancy (Gene) Weinreis of Wentzville, MO; brother, John (Billie) Skillington of Chesterfield, MO; fifteen, grandchildren; eight, great-grandchildren, one, great great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his father, Avery Skillington, mother, Helen Skillington (nee: Bock), brother, Roy Skillington, brother, Gene Skillington, brother, Ray Skillington.  

James, a beloved member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He had a profound love for travel, especially to the Great Smoky Mountains. James was also an avid golfer, a passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and finding great joy in all sports. 

Above all James enjoyed his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchild. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
