James Willenbrink Obituary

James Willenbrink of Defiance, Missouri, passed away on August 13, 2025 at the age of 82. He was survived by his beloved wife Pamalee Willenbrink (nee: Hall) of Defiance, Missouri; He is survived by his two daughters, Stacy Keiser of Augusta, MO, Heidi Bohrmann of Augusta, MO; four sisters, Lorraine Gruber of Augusta, MO, Milly Brandhorst of Washington, MO, Ginny Willenbrink of Washington, MO, Karen Willenbrink of Union, MO; grandchildren, James, Josie, Drake, Jordyn, Daphne, Dylan, Jillian and Jennifer; He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Willenbrink, mother, Margaret Willenbrink (nee: Eikel), sister, Dorothy Gerdiman. 


James and Pamalee enjoyed a wonderful marriage, and from this union they were blessed with two daughters, Stacy and Heidi. James was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Church in Augusta, Missouri. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a dedicated volunteer firefighter in Augusta for over 60 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 262. James cherished weekends boating on the river, hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, mowing the lawn, spending time with his grandchildren, enjoying a cold beer, barbecuing, and being surrounded by his beloved family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
