James "J.D."Butner, 89, of O'Fallon, MO passed away on March 16, 2020 at his home surronded by his loving family.
James "J.D." was born January 19, 1931 in New Florence, MO to James D. and Harriet H. Butner nee Duckworth.
J.D. was a long time truck driver, was a Warrenton volunteer firefighter for many years. J.D. loved traveling, reading and camping
J.D. is survived by his wife Janie Butner; son, David (Nancy) Butner; two sisters, Evelyn Worley, Kay Lewis; brother, Larry "Pete" Butner; two granddaughters, Amy (Jason) Michael, Lori (Marc) Davis; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Grace, Peyton and Trenton; three step-sons, Jeff (Rose) Dickherber, Alan (Jeannie) Dickherber, and Ed Dickherber; step-grandchildren, Paul, Sarah, Jacob, Evan, Eric, Audrey and Luke.
He is preceded in death by his father, James D. Butner, mother, Harriet Butner, his first wife, June Butner; son, Douglas Butner, 2 sisters, Betty Zimmerman, Charlotte Butner. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
