James "Jay" Johnson, Jr.

It is with deepest sorrow, we announce that James Glenn Johnson Jr., known to friends as “Jay,” our most beloved son, passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 30. He is survived by his son, Titus James Johnson; parents Daniel and Lisa Hoguet nee Kulage; sister Tara Hoguet; three brothers, Anthony Johnson, Dustin Johnson, J.J. Johnson; stepbrother Robert Keller; grandparents, Rachel Kulage, Don and Clara Mae Hoguet, Richard Davis; and family and friends too numerous to mention.

We know Jay is now with his grandpa Theodore “Ted” Kulage and granny Dolores Drury and loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

Jay was a fun-loving, affectionate father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to many. He graduated from Warrenton High School and also earned his cosmetology license from Aspire Beauty Academy and continued to cut hair on the side. He was a hard-worker and had recently started his own painting and resurfacing business. Jay never met a stranger. He was known for being charming, silly and his kind and compassionate spirit. Playing his keyboard, drawing, riding his motorcycle and making his son laugh brought him joy.
