James (Jim) Heppermann Obituary

Fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, James J. Heppermann (Jim) passed away on September 9, 2021 at the age of 74. He is survived by his four sisters, Monica A. Wissmann of Josephville, MO; Margie M. Summers of St. Charles, MO; Audrey L. (Jerry) Jungermann of Josephville, MO; and Carolyn P. Diggs of Fenton, MO, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Urban A. Heppermann, and mother, Dorothy M. Heppermann nee Kersting.  Jim was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Josephville. He served in the U.S. Army and on the St. Charles County and Warren County Sheriff's Departments. He also served on the Wentzville and Wright City Police Departments, and even continued to serve on the Wright City Police Department part-time. Jim was a superb gunsmith and marksman and was the local expert on antique guns. He loved the outdoors and animals (especially his cat), but most of all, he loved his family. Jim was a beloved brother and uncle who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
