Janet (Hancock) Stephens-Blanchard

Janet Stephens-Blanchard (nee Hancock), 81, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Paul Blanchard of Foristell, MO; She is survived by her two sons, Arzie Gracejoy) Stephens III of The Villages, FL, Richard (Sandy) Stephens of Wentzville, MO; daughter, Jill (Mark) Deane of Foristell, MO; granddaughter, Sara; three grandsons, Clayton, Cole, and Chance; three brothers, Glenn (Linda) Hancock of Dunwoody, GA., James (Mary Lee Scherer) Hancock of Town and Country, MO., and Kenneth (Kathy) Hancock of Montgomery City, MO.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Arzie C. Stephens, Jr.; parents, Edgar and Mary Agnes Hancock; grandparents, Clifford and Nola Smith; and brother, Marvin Eugene Hancock. 

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wentzville, an insurance agent for 30 years, and the co-owner of Heritage Hardware in St. Louis since 1987. Janet loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, cherished spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed traveling. Her talents included sewing, hand-making cards, and playing the piano. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Services: Visitation will be from 10:00am-12pm and Funeral Service will begin at noon on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Pitman Funeral Home, in Wentzville, MO. Interment will be in Mt.Lebanon Cemetery in St. Ann, MO.
