Jean Bamert Obituary

Jean Lorraine Bamert (nee' Dowl) of Eureka, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and close friends at St. Clair Hospital in Fenton, MO, on April 13, 2025 at the age of 89.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years,  Aloysius "Al" Bamert, as well as her father, Albert Dowl, mother, Venies Dowl (nee': Ventress),  brothers, Mike and Alex Dowl, and her sisters, Maude Springmeyer and Vivian Osborne. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (John) O'Donnell of Cedar Hill, MO; sister, Joyce Mossotti of Creve Coeur, MO; and granddaughter, Angelina.

Jean worked over 20 years at Ben Hur as an Administrative Assistant. After retirement Jean loved entertaining her family at their Lake Sherwood property in New Melle while her husband Al barbecued and she spent time with her granddaughter, Angela. Unfortunately, she passed away on her granddaughter's birthday. She also enjoyed going to church, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family and her husband's family of ten, (Al's sister Fran and brothers).  She will be missed by her family and friends.
