Jean Phillip Haberichter

Jean Phillip Haberichter of Wentzville, Missouri passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at the age of 96 years.

He is survived by one daughter, Karen Eck and husband, Harold of Foristell, MO; two grandchildren, Kyle Eck (and wife Jennifer Raber) of Chicago, IL and Kristen Eck of Wright City, Mo; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jean served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. On October 8, 1949, he was united in marriage to Miss Dorothy McLaughlin in Chicago, Illinois. They were the proud parents of two children. Jean started as a salesman, then a buyer, and finally retiring as a commodity trader for Swift Meat Company. He enjoyed playing golf, landscape painting, gardening, and rooting on his Chicago Cubs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (January 4, 2015), son, Bruce Haberichter (January 22, 2010), and two siblings, Bobby Haberichter and Joan Mazurek.

Jean had a tender heart and cared deeply about family and friends. He also enjoyed a good sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
