Jeffrey Scott Grosch, 58, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 12, 2020 at Progress West Hospital, O’Fallon, Missouri.
The son of Judith A. Crawford (Giles) and Roger L.Grosch, he was born August 27, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri.
He is survived by: his daughter, Jessica Thomas and her husband, Colby of Wentzville, Missouri; his son, Robert Grosch of Wentzville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jaxson Grosch, Madilyn Grosch, Mason Thomas and Ryan Thomas; his mother, Judith Giles of St. Charles, Missouri; his father, Roger Grosch and his wife, Barb of O’Fallon, Missouri; and three sisters, Kimberly Wiese and her husband, Hank of St. Charles, Missouri; Rebecca Meurer and her husband, Ted of Farmersville, Texas and Stephanie Vallely and her fiance’, David Ellington of Ballwin, Missouri.
Jeff grew up in North County. He was a Jack of All Trades and worked as a carpenter all of his life. He was a hard worker and would do anything for anyone. He was known as the Godfather of his neighborhood and his garage, which was elegant as garages go, was a gathering place for friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed RVing and camping. Rumor has it that Anheuser-Busch stock dropped significantly following reports of Jeff’s passing.
