Jeffrey Martin Obituary

Jeffrey Martin of New Melle, Missouri, passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 67. He is survived by his three children, Amy (Larry) Molitor of Wright City, MO, Alicia (Sean Marre) Martin of New Melle, MO, Allison Martin of La Crescent, MN; sister, Nancy (Ron) Barry of Sammamish, WA; two brothers, Ronnie Martin of Parsons, TN and Kenny (Debbie) Martin of Parsons, TN; grandchildren, Maggie Molitor, Morgan Molitor, Clara Princivalli, Charles Princivalli, Caiden Princivalli, Cian Marre, Emree Carlson, Eden Carlson; He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Martin, mother, Ruth Martin (nee: Channell) and brother, Danny Martin.  

Jeffrey was born October 3, 1957 and grew up in Lake Sherwood. Jeffrey graduated from Washington High School in 1975 and went on to pursue various careers. In his early years, Jeff worked as a cook and a technician at General X-ray. He later established his own businesses, Bi State Silver Recovery, and Jeff's Lawn Care and Snow Removal, which he successfully ran for over 20 years. Most recently, he retired in 2020 after serving 15 years as a supervisor at G&A Environmental Operations. Jeff was known for his calm demeanor, kind spirit and love for the outdoors. He enjoyed playing baseball, watching sports, fishing, boating, gardening, mushroom hunting and deer hunting. His other hobbies extended to playing poker and pool, camping, and four-wheeling trips. He most recently would be found riding side by side’s with his grandchildren and attending NASCAR races. Music was a constant in Jeff's life and you would be lucky to get a dance with him on the dance floor. A devoted dog lover, he had a special fondness for German Shepherds and Dachshunds. His friends and family knew him as an expert mechanic, always tinkering with various projects and extending a helping hand to those around him. He was especially proud of his three daughters and worked hard to support them. Jeffrey will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
