Fortfied with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Jennifer Ann Berkbigler of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 52. She was the beloved wife of David Berkbigler of Wentzville, Missouri; She is survived by her father, James Getz; mother, Stephanie Getz (nee: Bunten); two sons, Louis Berkbigler, and Frank Berkbigler; daughter, Anna Berkbigler; two brothers, Steve (Patrick) Getz, Jeff (Scott) Getz; five sisters, Barbara (Lance) Tyson, Anita (Gary) Brown, Patty Getz, Renée (Adam) Parks, Janet (Chris Burton) Getz; mother-in-law, Myra Berkbigler; sister-in-law, Linda (Mike) Rohde; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and dear neighbor and special friend of Ryan and Lisa Williams. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ray Berkbigler, brothers-in-law, Mark Berkbigler, Jeffrey Berkbigler.
Jennifer left behind a legacy of love, compassion and inspiration that will resonate with all who knew her. Born April 30, 1972, she dedicated her life to her family, her career, and the countless children she helped as a Speech-Language Pathologist at the Lincoln County School District's Early Childhood Center. Jennifer married her beloved husband, David, on October 17, 1998. Together they welcomed three wonderful children into the world: Louis, Frank, and Anna. Her family was her universe, and she cherished every moment spent cheering for her kids at their sports events and hosting family gatherings filled with laughter and warmth. A proud graduate of Missouri State University, Jennifer completed both her Master's and Bachelor's degrees, cementing her commitment to education and her passion for helping children communicate. Her kindness and dedication were woven into all facets of her life, and she was known for her beautiful smile that could light up any room. Jennifer had a zest for life that was contagious. She found joy in the simple things-whether it was tending to her yard, meticulously checking off her to-do lists, or baking delicious meals and treats for her family. Holidays were especially special to her, as she loved decorating her home and bringing everyone together in celebration. She had a particular fondness for Albanese Gummy Bears and Imo's pizza, which always brought a smile to her face. A fierce fighter, Jennifer faced life's challenges with remarkable strength and determination. During her time in the hospital, she often spoke of her son Louis's aspiration to become a nurse, a testament to her unwavering spirit and pride for her children's dreams. Her ability to inspire those around her, even in the toughest of times, was a reflection of her generous spirit and considerate nature. Jennifer leaves behind a loving family and a community that will forever remember her warmth, feistiness, and the joy she brought into their lives. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home.
