Jenny Maier Obituary

Jenny Maier, affectionately known as Jenny, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, on her 78th birthday, in O'Fallon, Missouri. Jenny is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Rudi Maier, and their daughter, Megan (David Anderson) Maier; her sisters, Janine McCluskey and Judi (Kevin) Bayne, as well as her brother-in-law, Brian Brazier. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Jenny was preceded in death by her father, Joseph R. Bentmann, her mother, Helen V. (Hranicka) Bentmann, her brother, Joe Bentmann, and her sister, Joelen Brazier, as well as her brother-in-law, Bill McCluskey.

Jenny's passion for education and her students was evident throughout her 31-year tenure as a teacher in the Francis Howell School District. An avid sports enthusiast, Jenny never missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite teams, especially when it came to watching her daughter's sporting events. Jenny's love for sports was paralleled only by her love for family gatherings, where she was the maker of lists, and keeping track of activities. Jenny Maier will be deeply missed, but her legacy will endure through the love she shared and the lives she touched.
