Jerome P. Barton, Jr.

Jerome P. Barton, Jr. passed away in Lake St. Louis, MO on November 24, 2021 at the age of 60.  He was the beloved husband of Sherry Barton nee Grigsby of Foley, Missouri;  He is survived by his wife; mother, Joan M. Barton nee Brouk of O'Fallon, MO; two step-children, Mike (Chrissy) Shaffer and Crystal Grant; three sisters, Joanne Bartnett of Wentzville, MO, Sharon (Richard) Gillardi of O'Fallon, MO, Anna Marie (Terry) Hoofman of Labadie, MO; brother, Raymond (Denise) Barton of Imperial, MO; three grandchildren; Taylor, Hailey, and Hunter; ten nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and nephews.

Jerome had a great sense of humor and was able to make people laugh even if they didn't want to.  He never met a stranger and enjoyed talking and joking with anyone.  He loved road trips, especially to Texas and Tennessee.  Jerome was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and uncle who will always be remembered for his gift of laughter.

He is preceded in death by father, Jerome P. Barton, Sr., son, Jerome P. Barton, III.
