Jerry Pool of Foley, Missouri, passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 91. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Pool (née: McCormick) of Foley, Missouri; two daughters, Kim Pool, and Kris (Ken) Kershaw; two brothers, Sam (Judy) Pool, Terry (Sally) Pool; sister, Francis Boots; two grandchildren, Jared (Katie) Kershaw, and Jacob (Amber) Kershaw; great grandchildren, Holden, Liam, Blake, Isabelle, Charlie, and Nolan; many nieces, nephews and other family. He is preceded in death by his father, George Pool, mother, Elsie Pool (née: Adams), brother, Ed Pool, brother, Carl Pool, brother-in-law, Charles Boots.
Jerry met Joyce, and she instantly knew he was the man she was going to marry. Eight months later, they were united in marriage on June 26, 1954, beginning a beautiful journey together that spanned 71 wonderful years. Their loving union was blessed with two daughters, Kim and Kris.
Jerry proudly served his country in the military, and during his time of service he and Joyce were living in Germany. After his service, they made their home in Missouri, where they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Jerry enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and loved camping, fishing, and hunting. Whether outdoors enjoying nature or surrounded by those he loved most, he found happiness in every moment. Above all else, Jerry treasured his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, creating memories they will hold close forever. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
