Joan (Werner) Blackwell

Joan E. Blackwell, Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Blackwell. Born on January 19, 1932 and passed away on August 9, 2025.

She spent her entire career as a Medical Technician at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Kay Blackwell and special friends, Wayne and Debbie Hueffmeier. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Marie Werner, Husband Bill and Son Richard “Ricky.”

There are no services.

Burial to take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.

Family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
