Joan C. (Cannon) Borgese

Joan C. Borgese, 89, passed away on March 8, 2025, in Lake St. Louis, MO. She was born on August 6, 1935, in Fishing Creek, MD, to the late William Matthew and Mabel Louise (Hart) Cannon. Joan is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Richie) Borgese-Bruno and Carolyn Banziger; and granddaughters, Cate (Mike) Mueller, and Courtney Banziger. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Borgese; parents, William and Mabel Cannon; and siblings, Isabelle Cannon Kato, Samuel Cannon, Virginia Cannon LeCompte.

Joan was a woman of faith and loved going to church and worshiping the Lord. She enjoyed bird watching and taking time to admire God’s creation. Joan liked playing BINGO and socializing with her friends. She also loved reading books and getting caught up with current events by watching the news. But most of all, Joan loved spending time with her family and pets. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville.

Funeral Service will be held on March 18, 2025 at Time-TBD at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Funeral Home in Old Bridge, NJ.

Burial will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
