Joanne B. (Bolen) Scott

Joanne B. Scott of Wentzville, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the age of 71 years.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Scott of Wentzville; two children Matthew Scott and wife, Mary of O’Fallon, MO and Heather (Bill) Scott of Suffolk, VA; two grandchildren, Olivia Klotz and Shane Scott; two brothers, Cletus Dixon of Nebraska and Tom Dixon of Iowa; two sisters, Sandy Searles of IL and Jackie Osterbuhr of Iowa; other relatives, and many friends.

Joanne was born November 23, 1949 in Sioux City, IA; daughter of the late William Spencer Bolen and Leone Allen. She graduated from Anthon-Oto High School in Anthon, Iowa. Joanne served her country proudly in the United States Navy from 1969-1972. Joanne was united in marriage to Mr. Wade Scott November 27, 1971 in Washington D. C. and twins were born to this marriage. She and Wade moved their family to Wentzville, MO in 1984. She was an active member of Living Lord Lutheran Church in Lake St. Louis, MO; she enjoyed playing BUNCO with friends, and was a positive presence in life spreading kindness and love.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to Living Lord Lutheran Church, 500 Cedar Circle Drive, Lake St. Louis, MO  63367.

Joanne will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
