John Duckworth

John L. Duckworth of Jonesburg, Missouri, passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 73. He is survived by his son, Ralph Duckworth; brother, Alan  Duckworth; four sisters, Maydell Frances Duckworth Smith, Helen Duckworth, Neoma Duckworth Barry, Mary Duckworth; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, John Duckworth, mother, Virginia Duckworth (née: Kobusch). 

John had a deep love for country music and enjoyed playing the guitar. John was a hard worker with a generous heart, and enjoyed helping his parents on their family farm, he was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.
Those who knew John will remember his happy-go-lucky nature. John was a great son, brother and uncle and he will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
