John "Gene" E. Richardson

John "Gene" Richardson passed away on November 10, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital West at the age of 88. Gene was born March 16, 1934 in Bonne Terre, MO to John O. and Estelle Richardson nee Carrow. 
He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years Marilyn Richardson nee Son of Jonesburg, MO; three sons, Michael  Richardson of Wildwood, MO, Kevin Richardson of Jonesburg, MO, John D. (Donna) Richardson of Jonesburg, MO; brother, Muriel  Richardson of Kansas City, MO; sister, Doris Fairgrieve of Florida; two granddaughters, Amber (Jacob) McBain, Amy (Chris Senn) Richardson; four great-grandsons, Trystan  McBain, Ethan McBain, Alex McBain, Jakobe Senn; great-granddaughter, Laila McBain;  He is preceded in death by his father, John Oliver Richardson, mother, Estelle McCarty.  
Gene and Marilyn were married on September 26, 1953 at the Christian Church in Bonne Terre, MO they celebrated 69 wonderful years together. Gene retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1989, he enjoyed farming, deer hunting, camping, loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids and great-grandkids. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
