John "Jack" David Flynn

It is with great sadness that the family of Jack Flynn announces his passing, after a long illness on Sunday August 16th, at the age of 79 years.Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Nancy, and his children Erin, David, wife Shari, and Keith, wife Kara.Jack will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marguarite (Skoda) Flynn. His two brothers, Pat and Mike. And one sister, Marilyn, all of Springfield, IL.Jack was a member of Assumption church in O'Fallon. He loved his sports, loved Notre Dame football, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, enjoyed fishing and he himself was an avid golfer with his Lake St. Louis buddies and great friends. He was a member of many golf leagues. He was a great high school baseball player as well. Jack was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

As per his wishes, funeral services and interment will be private.
