Joseph DeVincent Jr. Obituary

Joseph Anthony DeVincent Jr., 80, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. Born on May 30, 1945, Joe lived a life defined by dedication to his family, service to his country, and deep friendships that enriched his later years.
 
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara (Lucas) DeVincent; his parents, Joseph and Naomi DeVincent; and his son, Nicholas DeVincent.

He is survived by his son, Anthony (Tony) DeVincent and his wife Hilda; his daughter, Gina Vanroboys and her husband Steve; and his treasured grandchildren, TJ, Delixsa, Lucas, Audra, and Arabella who brought him immense pride and joy. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family, including his wife’s family, godchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Joe proudly served his country as a member of the Air National Guard from which he retired after years of honorable service. He was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Patrick’s Knights of Columbus in Wentzville.

In his later years, Joe thoroughly enjoyed the friendships and community he found at Twin Oaks at Heritage Pointe independent living, where he spent his days surrounded by many dear friends, sharing laughter and companionship.

Joe will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
