Joseph J. Lodato

Joseph J. Lodato passed away at his home in Lake St. Louis on January 23, 2023 at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of  Donna Lodato nee Whittleman of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri.  He and Donna celebrated 48 years of marriage before his passing.  He is survived by his three children, Dennis (Paula) Rich, Susan (Mark) Tiemann, William (Nicole) Rich; sister, Marianna Craiger; nine grandchildren, Kaelyn  Rich, Sydney (Jackson) Willard, Joshua Rich, Luke Rich, Clayton Tiemann, Benjamin Tiemann, Cole  Rich, Emily Rich, Grayson Rich; and many extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Vito Lodato, mother, Marie Lodato nee Errante, brothers, Salvatore Lodato and Peter Lodato.  

Joseph was a graduate of Cleveland High School in St. Louis, MO and went on to attend University of Missouri in Rolla where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He retired from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corporation/Boeing Company where he worked for many years. Joseph had many interests including playing golf, bowling, watching football and Cardinals baseball.  He was a loving husband, grandfather, and father who will be missed by many family and friends.
