Joseph Marstall Obituary

Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Joseph C. Marstall of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Sharon Marstall (nee: Sandmeier) of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his daugthers, Tina (Bill Raines Fiancée) Prinzi of St. Peters, MO, Pam (Matthew) Cobaugh of Ladue, MO, Cindy (Bob) Scanlon of St. Louis, MO, Tricia (Patrick) Ryan of St. Charles, MO; two brothers, Jerry (Marge) Marstall of Chesterfield, MO, Glen Marstall of St. Charles, MO; two sisters, Margie Jones of St. Charles, MO, Carolyn (Wayne) Weusthoff of Ballwin, MO; grandchildren, Max, Jack, and Maggie Prinzi, Violet, Caroline, and Thomas Cobaugh, Will, Hannah, and Charlie Scanlon, Amelia, Connor, and Evelyn Ryan, Allie and Celia Raines; two brother-in-laws, Bob (Rose Mary) Sandmeier of Dittmer, MO, Scott (Kathleen) Sandmeier of Mineral Wells, WVA; uncle and great uncle to many. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles B. Marstall, mother Frances C. Marstall (nee: Nienhaus), brother-in-law, Herb Jones, sister-in-law, Mary Marstall.  

Joe was a member for 45 years at Sacred Heart in Florissant and 8 years at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville. He served in the Army National Guard. Joe and Sharon were married on January 24, 1970, and from this union, four daughters were born: Tina, Pam, Cindy, and Tricia. Joe worked for National Supermarket in St. Louis, MO, for 27 years, spent 5 years at Cucchi Construction and then spent the next 15 years in the construction industry. He had many interests, including woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. He especially loved visiting National Parks and reading Stephen King novels. Joe was keen on home improvements and barbecuing. He was registered as a volunteer for the Girl Scouts and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family. An official "girl dad" before it became a trend, he always supported his daughters in whatever they pursued and loved watching his grandkids' sporting events. Joe was a dedicated son, brother, husband, father, Paw Paw, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorials: In honor of Joseph, memorials may be made to: American Lung Association, or MO Conservation, or Sacred Heart, Florissant and St. Patrick Catholic Church, Wentzville, MO.
