Joseph E. Hatch, Jr. passed away on April 10, 2021 in O'Fallon Missouri at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine Hatch nee Montrenec of Warrenton, Missouri; He is survived by his two daughters, Joelyn A. Mason (gypsy at heart), Julie A. (Brad) Goldie-Morrison of Downer's Grove, IL; sister, Judy A. Frickey of Grover City, CA; four grandchildren, Brittany S. Mason, Chad J.E. Mason, Heather F.M. Goldie-Morrison, George E. Goldie-Morrison; great-granddaughter, Serenity M. Clemson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Joe retired from General Motors on August 1, 2009 after 53 years of service. He enjoyed telling stories, spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, barbecuing, going to the beach, roller skating, swimming, dancing AKA "Twinkle Toes", and especially loved watching sports, including baseball and football. Joe also loved to go 4 wheeling in his jeep and camping at Pismo Beach, CA. One of his favorite games was dominos. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was admired and respected by all who had the opportunity to acquire his wisdom. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. WELL YEAH!
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph E. Hatch, Sr. and Allyne P. Justus Hatch and son, Jerry Lee Hatch.
