Joyce L. (Dewar) Dickey

Joyce Dickey of Wentzville passed away May 16th, 2023, at the age of 94.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years William Dickey; three children, Pam Finchum (Charles), Janet Nanney (Tim), and David Dickey (Kim); five grandchildren, Jessica Ravlin (Dave), Wayne Quiggins, Kailee, Mitchell, and Kristen Dickey; five great-grandchildren, Nataley, Abbey, and Chase Ravlin and Leo and Logan Wintjen.

Joyce was born in Milltown, New Brunswick Canada in 1928 to her father Brooke and mother Ethel Dewar. Joyce graduated from Nursing school in 1950 from the Maine General Hospital in 
Portland, ME and worked as a pediatric registered nurse, dedicated to her profession for the next 40-45 years.  Joyce was a kind and caring person who always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She loved her family, friends, and growing flowers in her garden.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Albert and Peter Dewar, and son John Mitchell Dickey.

She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
