Joyce J. Ervin

        Joyce J. Ervin, 74, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the home of her son, Freddie, Jr. in O’Fallon, Missouri.

        The daughter of William and Nellie (Otey) Dierker, she was born August 16, 1945 in Wentzville, Missouri.

        On April 25, 1965 at Wentzville, Missouri, she married Freddie Ervin, Sr., who preceded her in death on April 30, 2014.

        Also preceding her were: her parents and one brother, Glenn Dierker.

        She is survived by: two daughters, Carmen Ervin and Rashelle Ervin, both of Wentzville, Missouri; three sons, Freddie Ervin, Jr. and his wife, Pamela of O’Fallon, Missouri, Darren Ervin and his wife, Liz of Lake St. Louis, Missouri and Cordell Ervin of Wentzville, Missouri; 18 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Marion Edwards of Long Beach, California; and two brothers, Allen Dierker and his wife, Ann of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mark Dierker and his wife, Brenda of Warrreton, Missouri.

        Mrs. Ervin was a cook at the Foristell Truck Stop. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, Wentzville, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday evening, February 10, 2020 at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Pkwy., Wentzville, MO 63385 636-290-6453. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
