Judy A. (Maurer) Bohnenkamp

Judy A. Bohnenkamp (nee: Maurer) of Defiance, Missouri, passed away on September 12, 2025 at the age of 81. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard A. Bohnenkamp of Defiance, Missouri; son, Richard A. Bohnenkamp, II of Defiance, MO; daughter, Michele (Tim) McLean of Florissant, MO; sister, Carol Dwyer of Chesterfield, MO; grandchildren, Sean, Jason, and Grant; She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Maurer, mother, Adele Maurer (nee: Tubasing), brother, Jack Maurer. 

Richard and Judy celebrated 59 years of marriage, a remarkable milestone marked by love and commitment. From this union, they were blessed with two wonderful children: Richard II and Michele. Judy was a beloved member of the First Baptist Church of Wentzville, where she found great joy singing in the choir. She dedicated 32 years of her career as an office manager at Boeing.
Judy had a passion for adventure and the outdoors. She enjoyed traveling, boating, water skiing, and camping, always making the most of every moment with friends and family. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she delighted in decorating and creating cherished memories. She also loved celebrating everyone’s birthdays, making each person feel special.
Above all, Judy treasured her family, with a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
