Karen Eberhart Obituary

Karen Eberhart (née: Kirkpatrick) of O' Fallon, Missouri, passed away on October 24, 2025 at the age of 77. She was the beloved wife of the late James Eberhart; She is survived by her three children, Jennifer (John) Sommer, Bill (Chris) Johnson, Paula (Mike) Williams; three step-children, Babette (Rick) Struttmann, Greg (Louise) Eberhart, Bruce Eberhart; two brothers, Benny (Cindy) Kirkpatrick, Ryan Jurgens; sister, Cassa (Larry) Kampmann; sister-in-law, Lynn Kirkpatrick; nine grandchildren, Charles (Abby) Faris, Grant, David, Landon Faris, Kayla and Kenny Johnson, Greg, Anna, and Ella Williams; five great grandchildren, Ameila, Nate, Ryker, Sammy and Sylphrena; several, step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and close neighbors; dear friend for over 60 years, Ginny Newcomb and her beloved Dog, Gertrude "Gertie"; She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Kirkpatrick, mother, Doris Kirkpatrick (née Waller), brother, Butch Kirkpatrick.  

Karen shared many cherished years with her beloved husband James before his passing in 2018, building a lifetime of memories together. Karen spent her career as a dedicated teller at TWA Credit Union.

Karen was known for her adventurous side, especially her love for her pink jeep, and her devotion to serving others through her Mission, Laborers for Christ. She poured her heart into crocheting blankets for each of her grandbabies.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Karen was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, deeply involved in Bible study, and steadfast in her walk with Jesus Christ. She found joy in dancing, gardening, being on the water, and watching sunsets, embracing the simple pleasures of life with gratitude.

Karen never met a stranger; her kindness and friendship knew no boundaries. She touched the hearts of all who knew her. Karen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
