She loved camping and became an avid bass fisherman, even catching a 10-pound bass that made her the envy of all the men at the fish camp in Florida. After retirement, she enjoyed many trips in the RV, exploring the western United States and traveling along the East Coast.
Her monthly gambling trips to Tunica, Mississippi, and the Gulf Coast brought her great joy. She never met a slot machine she didn't like, although Dragon Link was her favorite. Karin pretty much kept the casinos in business with her daily visits alongside her best friend.
