Kathie Triantafyllou Obituary

Kathie Lynn Triantafyllou (née Spilker), 70, of Foristell, Missouri, passed from this life to her heavenly home on September 7, 2025.

She was born on May 4, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Richard and Mary (née Matthews) Spilker. Kathie was the beloved and cherished wife of Charlie Triantafyllou for 23 years. Their marriage was built on deep love, respect, and true companionship. Charlie was not only her husband but also her best friend.

Kathie was the devoted mother of her two daughters, Amy (Craig) Willbanks and Ashley (Travis) Lewis. Being a mother was one of Kathie’s greatest joys, and she poured every ounce of her heart into her daughters. She was the proud and loving grandmother of eight grandchildren, Corbin, Kayden, Easton, Brayson, Preston, Tallen, Owen, and Cecelia.

Kathie was preceded in death by her siblings, Brian Spilker, Karen Roden, and Kelly Spilker. She is survived by her in-laws Steven Roden and Patty Spilker and was also the sister-in-law of the late John Triantafyllou. She was a cherished niece, aunt, cousin, godmother, and friend to many.

A graduate of McCluer High School, Class of 1973, Kathie began her career as a tech at Christian Hospital. In 1976, she discovered her passion for the stock market and began her career with Smith Moore & Company, where she dedicated 44 years. Starting as a secretary/receptionist working her way to a client associate. Kathie poured her heart into her work and was admired not only for her professionalism and dedication, but also for the kindness, heart, wisdom, and encouragement she shared with colleagues and clients. Many of those she worked alongside became like family and brought her great joy throughout her life.

Kathie was a woman of extraordinary love, quiet strength, and timeless grace. She lived her life with her heart on her sleeve, giving selflessly to her family, friends, and community. To her loved ones, she was the heart and soul—the encourager, protector, and thread that held everyone together.

Her legacy of faith, love, strength, and resilience will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, and all those blessed by her presence.
