Kevin Ray Crumes

Kevin Ray Crumes of O’Fallon, Mo was born in Troy, Mo to the Parents of LeRay and Cecilia Crumes.

On March 2, 2025, God did a roll call and decided to call His son home at the age of 61. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, LeRay and Cecilia Crumes and brother Kenneth Crumes, nieces Carole and Charlene Crumes. 

Kevin earned a Bachelor’s degree from Missouri University, Columbia, MO, attended Law school and earned a Master’s degree from Lindenwood University.  Kevin was a breeder of giant Schnauzers which were Show dogs he traveled throughout the country winning numerous awards and trophies. This has allowed him the opportunity to meet and become a trusted friend within the show dog circuit. His dogs were his business and his pride and joy. Kevin lived a happy life; he was a joy to be around. He could make you laugh and loved to dance. He showed the love of Christ to everyone he met. If he saw a need, he filled it, he fed the hungry and gave the homeless a place to sleep. His church was not only on Sunday but every day.

(Nephews) Darryl Crumes of O’Fallon, MO, Kenney (Mallory) Crumes of Troy, MO, Anthony (Marlie) of Seattle, WA, Johnathan Davis of Wentzville, MO, Phillip (Keana) Love of Wentzville, MO,  Justin Davis of Wentzville, MO, (Nieces) Tanesha (Donzell) Peebles of Sellersburg, IN, Jessica Davis of Wentzville, MO,(Aunts) Ann Thomas, Ruth Luckett, Bea Kuhlman, Helen Crumes, (Uncle) Stanley Luckett. 

He was blessed with many cherished friendships and a large extended family, including cousins, dear great nieces and nephews, his dear friend Saundra Burns, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
