Kevin Smythe of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 76. He is survived by his beloved wife Gabriela Smythe (née: Lausen) of Wentzville, Missouri; daughter, Christy (Ryan) Ruhl (née: Smythe); grandson, Carter Ruhl; three brothers, Mark (Theresa) Smythe, Don (Karen) Smythe, Chris (Barb) Smythe; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Smythe, mother, Marcella Smythe (née: Schmucker).
Kevin proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Kevin and Gabriela were united in marriage on August 17, 2000. Kevin found great joy in spending time outdoors, whether hunting, tending to his yard, or simply enjoying nature. He was a passionate sports fan, especially when cheering for the Green Bay Packers. Kevin loved BBQs and cherished every moment spent with his beloved grandson. Kevin will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
