Kyle Hawkins Obituary

Kyle (Newly) Hawkins of Bellflower, passed away at home on March 17, 2025, at the age of 48 with his loving family by his side. Kyle was born September 7, 1976, in Troy, MO to Robert and Joyce Hawkins nee Colbert.

He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 30 years Carmen Hawkins; son, Anthony Hawkins; sister, JoAnn Turner; two brothers, Joey (Shelley) Lansche, Jeff (Regina Thomas Baer) Lansche;  nieces and nephews, Derek (Angie), Paige(Amber), Kayla (Luke), Jordan (Marja), Jason, Jasmine, Jimmy, Levi, Karli; and three great-nieces; Lacey, Felicity, Ellie. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Shannon  Hawkins.

 Kyle graduated from Montgomery Co R-2 High School in 1995. Kyle married the love of his life on Sept. 16, 1995, and they have celebrated 29 years of marriage. After graduation, Kyle joined the USMC and proudly served 4 years. Hawkeye was a great man, one hell of a Marine. Kyle worked for Harbison-Walker in Vandalia for several years. He enjoyed playing pool, video games, watching football, and anything that involved outdoor cooking.  His family would have yearly family-friendly cook-off competitions. There also might have been a few competitive games of football, basketball, baseball or other games played. 

He loved listening to KSHE 95 he would often bring the party with him. He would have KSHE parties at Bellflower Community Center. He loved to have a good time and make people happy, and laugh. Kyle was a fighter, and warrior, and even through all his sickness, he kept his humor. A man above men, strength and inspiration to many. He touched many, many lives. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
