Larry Hill of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on July 24, 2026 at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of his late wife, Virginia Hill (née: Paul); survived by his two sons, Douglas Hill of Bartlett, TN, and Daniel (Dawn Renee) Hill of Wentzville, MO; two brothers, Rodney Hill of Chicago, IL, Quinten "Butch" Hill of Tampa, FL; three grandchildren, Hannah (Hunter), Heather (Dan) and Stone; He is preceded in death by his father, James Hill, mother, Majorie Hill (née: Palmer), son, Richard Hill, and brother, Cortland Hill.
Larry was united in marriage to the love of his life, Virginia, and together they were blessed with three sons. Larry dedicated 55 years of his career to working as a mechanical engineer for the government, remaining in the workforce until the age of 75. He truly loved his work and took great pride in everything he did.
In his younger years, Larry enjoyed bowling and camping with his family, creating many cherished memories together. He also had a passion for motorcycles and always enjoyed taking a ride whenever he could. A man of faith, Larry was devoted to serving the Lord. He found great joy in teaching Bible studies and Sunday school.
But most of all, Larry treasured the time he spent with his family and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
