Larry's faith became sight when he met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 22, 2025. Larry was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force for 12 years where he served as a loadmaster. Born July 28, 1962 in Memphis, TN. Son of John Richard (D) and Eleanor Jane (D) Voss. Sister Vickie Voss (D), Surviving - Jack (Debra) Voss brother, sister-in-law. Dear daughter Ellie Voss. Uncle (Funky Larry).
Larry leaves behind friends everywhere as he never met a stranger. He owned KBM Contracting in Glendale, MO, for many years. He was also a real estate agent among other jobs. He was an active member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Webster for many years, serving as an usher. Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton, MO, is his current church. Larry loved every type of music he could locate. He had great playlists and would always send songs to make you happy. He was passionate about the outdoors, nature, and animals. Boating, fishing, camping, and biking were favorites of his sports. He and Ruby his little red poodle had a special bond. Despite many losses and physical pain from work related and other injuries he would tell you he was "blessed beyond measure." He would encourage you to be the face of Christ to all you meet. Larry said his only fear was the loss and love of Jesus Christ. He asked for God's will not his to be done. Larry was still a soldier. He loved to serve anyone in need with any skill he had been blessed with. He could fix anything. He loved to share. He also shared many thoughts and words. The one solid truth he stood on was John 3:16. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." We love you Larry (my faithful friend) and so many principles you stood for. We will miss you, however we know you are at peace and no longer in pain. He loved these words on Ruth Bell Graham's tombstone:
"End of Construction... Thank you, for your patience Love, Larry"
Celebration of life and burial at a later date
